Catalpa International Launches New Website

Tuesday, 15 September 2009.

Today Catalpa International established an online presence with the launch of its new website.

The website not only illustrates the goal and mission of Catalpa International, but also outlines Catalpa International's range of development projects.

Catalpa International's approach to development utilises comprehensive research and community input to guide their project management and implementation strategy. As the organisation grows, it will also provide a platform for Catalpa International's research and publication unit, due to be launched in late 2009.

Executive Director David Roach noted, "An online presence is critical not only to providing a medium in which Catalpa International can share its work with the public, but also in harnessing community support."

The website was designed and constructed by Perth based business Phobos Consulting, an emerging IT consultancy group that provides flexible and cost effective IT solutions.

Phobos Consulting director Jeremy Hadfield noted "A website is a critical part of any not-for profit organisations public relations strategy. Phobos Consulting is proud to be supporting the efforts and good work of Catalpa International."

Established in mid-2008, Catalpa International is an apolitical, not-for-profit development and research organisation dedicated to finding solutions to communication infrastructure and capacity constraining problems in developing and post-conflict societies.
