Professor Simon Adams
Professor Simon Adams has worked in the field of international education for more than 15 years. He has a Ph.D from the University of New South Wales in Sydney and has lectured at a number of Australian, European, North American and African universities. He most recently served as Pro Vice Chancellor (International Engagement) at Monash University - Australia's largest and most globalized University.
In addition, Prof Adams is a specialist in conflict studies and international development, he has worked extensively with NGO’s, governments and grassroots community organisations in South Africa, Northern Ireland, East Timor, Rwanda, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and elsewhere.

Mr Barry Thomas
After a 20 some year corporate career with responsibilities for strategic planning, finance, and multi-division operations and following the collapse of the former soviet union went to Russia in the early 1990s to participate in the redevelopment of the country. From 2004 into 2010 lived and worked in East Timor as an advisor to Nobel Laureate and, now, President, Josè Ramos-Horta. Barry Thomas is currently lecturing at the Walker School of Business at the Appalachian State University.
Mr Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Wesleyan University, an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a Master of Science Degree in conflict resolution from Antioch University.
